Rothschild Foundation Funds International Project to Digitize Jewish Inscriptions (PEACE)

Source link: The Rothschild Foundation (Hanadiv) Europe has awarded a grant to the digital humanities project PEACE: Portal of Epigraphy, Archaeology, Conservation and Education on Jewish Funerary Culture (link). The project will provide an open-access digital platform for research on Judaism from Antiquity to the present in different areas of Eretz-Israel and the Diaspora. The project partners are Utrecht University, the Epidat project of the Steinheim Institute (Germany) and the Inscriptions of Israel/Palestine project of Brown University (USA).
